At Nauset Regional High School in Eastham, Massachusetts, Meghan Trainor had her sights set on a career in the music industry! Her music teacher Tom Faris clearly remembers knowing Meghan’s main focus wasn’t always inside the classroom. “She was a student here, then she would go home in the afternoons and spend hours and hours just crafting songs,” he recalls. But there was one thing that held Meghan back for a while. “She wanted to be a pop star but she didn’t have the right body image,” he says. Fortunately, Meghan’s confidence grew overtime, and now the whole world gets to hear those songs!
