Like her Girl Meets World character Maya, Sabrina Carpenter was a great friend to all of her classmates. “She was the friend who would make sure you were included during recess games,” her second grade teacher Ms. Emily Costa tells us. “She never let anyone sit alone at the lunch table.” And that wasn’t the only thing she had in common with Maya! “She had this infectious giggle,” Ms. Costa shares. “She would find humor and positivity in every lesson and was quick with a joke — much like Maya.”
