When it comes to putting together an album, BTS says it’s harder than you might think. In fact, the band told us that to help them narrow down what made the cut for Map of the Soul: 7, they decided to do things differently. “We tried to tell a story of each member and the genre they wanted for their duets,” V explained. “The narrative is so important to us,” J-Hops added. “We have 20 tracks on the album and they range from songs about fears we face as artists, like in the song ‘Black Swan’ to songs about how we keep going, like in ‘We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.’”
