The Women Who Inspire Us!

-

TAYLOR SWIFT

Taylor reminds us to stand up for ourselves, no matter the situation. Being one of the biggest starts on the planet comes with the pressure to please a lot of people. We can all relate to feeling like you have to put other people’s feelings

over our own, but Taylor’s actions are a lesson in tuning out that inner people-pleaser. “I think it’s important to be polite,

but not at all costs,” she says. “Not when you’re being pushed beyond your limits, and not when people are walking all

over you.”

LILI REINHART

Lili’s message resonates with anyone who has ever

felt insecure about their body — and let’s be honest, that’s most of us. From the second she gained a following, she started speaking out about her experience with body insecurities and how unfair

the pressure to look a certain way really is. “I want other young women to see my body on T.V. and feel comfort in the fact that I’m not a size zero,” she

explains.

CAMILA CA BELL O

Camila shows us that there’s strength in vulnerability. She’s honest about having bad days and struggling with her mental

health. She reminds us that sometimes you have to go easy

on yourself and take small victories as they come. Through

letting the world in on what she’s going through, she breaks down stigmas and creates opportunities for others to share their experiences. “I’m committed to doing my best to help others as much as I can, while working towards healing

myself,” she says.

K EKE PALMER

Keke’s transparency is what we love most about her. She’s so frank about everything she goes through — just look at her struggle with acne and how honest she’s been about it. She makes us feel less alone about our own struggles and reminds us that things will always get better. “My skin has made me sad many nights, but I do not give up on myself,” she says. “I’m not afraid to show myself to the world and you shouldn’t be either!”

BILLIE EILISH

Billie is living proof that we don’t need to hide who we really are in order to fit in with what’s “popular.” Think about the bravery it took when she was an unknown artist for her to stand confident in a sound and style that was so different from what every other singer was doing. Now, there are artists influenced by her aesthetics! “I went through a period of wanting to be like everyone else,” she admits. “But that went away pretty fast.”
