We think it’s pretty safe to say that Tom Holland stands as the all-time best Spider-Man, but he was not nearly as confident in his portrayal of the iconic web-slinger. You see, after he filmed his first Marvel movie, Captain America: Civil War, no one updated him on getting to film his own Spider-Man movie. “I’d finished the film; Civil War hadn’t come out yet, and I just didn’t hear anything from anyone,” he explains. “I was convinced for about a year that they were going to fire me. I don’t know why. I can’t really explain it. It was awful, but they didn’t ... obviously.” The experience was definitely stressful, but Tom wouldn’t change a thing. “It’s been the most wild rollercoaster, but I’ve loved every minute of it,” he says.
