With over four million followers, it’s safe to say that Hannah Montoya’s POV TikToks are resonating with people! Creating characters and being funny has been a passion of Hannah’s since she was a kid, but the success of her videos (@Hannah.montoya) came as complete surprise! “I originally used TikTok as a creative outlet,” she tells J-14. “Then, one night, I posted a new POV video and woke up to over 100,000 views. I was freaking out, it was so surreal!” Creating her Aunt Jackie character was a major moment for Hannah, and her first “New Jersey Aunt POV” stands as her favorite video she’s made. “I was really nervous to post her on TikTok,” she admits. “That was when I finally decided to fully go for it.” Now, she hopes to get into acting and, if you were wondering, you’re not the first to notice that her name resembles a certain Disney Channel icon. “I get comments every time I meet someone!” she shares. “I took it as the biggest compliment when I was younger, Hannah Montana was totally my idol.”
