CELENA’S BRINGING MUSICAL THEATER TO YOUR HOME!

On December 2, you can watch Celina Smith take the stage as Annie in Annie Live! on NBC. Celina told us all about her dream role!

J-14: Hi, Celina! Can you tell us about the moment you found out you got the part?

CELINA SMITH: I was in my parents’ room — I had basically just woken up and my team calls and goes, “What will you be doing this October ... you’re gonna be doing Annie Live!” I was sooooo excited.

J-14: Annie has so many amazing songs. What’s your favorite?

CS: I say that my favorite song is “Hard Knock Life,” but I listened to the soundtrack again and realized I actually really like “NYC! “It has such a “New York City at night” vibe.

J-14: What are you most looking forward to for the night of Annie Live!

CS: I am looking forward to the big night and being able to spread the message, especially since we are in such difficult times right now, it’s gonna be an amazing experience!
