Hulk in The MCU
Mark Ruffalo has played Hulk in eight MCU films, but Edward Norton had the starring role in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Before The Avengers filmed, Marvel announced they’d be recasting the role because they needed, “an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members.” Yeah, it was pretty dramatic. Edwards’ team denied the claims that he was difficultto work with. Sources say there were issues over the script, so Marvel chose to move on.
