I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community but I'm scared to tell people

-

I recently figured out I was LGBTQ+ but I'm not sure how to come out to everyone! I want to but I'm nervous to what should I do?

There’s no one right answer to this question, because there’s no one right way to come out. Only you can truly decide what works best for you. The good news is that there are so many trusted sources of information and support that can help you make that decision. The Trevor Project is a great place to start. Not only does their website have a free downloadable handbook for young people all about coming out, they also have a 24/7 hotline with experts you can talk to over the phone. If you happen to know and trust someone who is openly part of the LGBTQ+ community, you can also talk to them about their own experience and advice they may have. If not, you can watch YouTube videos of real people sharing their coming out stories to give you an idea of what you could expect. Best of luck!
