Hailee started her career in acting, but she always knew she wanted to sing, too. She carefully planned her career transition. “Obviously, timing is everything,” she says. “I thought I would really love for it to happen through a film. I didn’t want it to be, ‘Here I am, a movie came out last week and now I’m dropping an album.’ I wanted it to make sense.”
