Brainstorm some options that reflect the kinds of items you want to sell. For example, Made in Neverland would be a fun name for a Disney-inspired shop.

When you start listing your items, there are a few things to remember. The first is that you need quality photos to attract buyers. You’ll also want to catch their eye with your item descriptions and key words, which potential buyers will use to search the sites for products.

MAKE SURE YOUR PRICE IS RIGHT. Keep in mind that Etsy takes fees for listing the product, buying transactions, payment processing and more. Do your research so you know just how much of a cut Etsy will get from your transactions so you can price your items accordingly.

CUSTOMERS. You’ll want to answer their questions in a timely manner and be upfront about your shipping timeline. Remember that your customers will be leaving reviews and other potential customers will be reading those when they decide whether to buy your products.
