My friend always talks for me!

Hi there, Robynn. We think the only option you have is to ask your friend to stop. Tell her that you’ve noticed that she sometimes speaks up when someone is talking to you. Explain that you feel like you’re not getting to speak your mind and add to conversations. Try not to do so in an accusatory way — you don’t want to blame her for something she may not be doing intentionally. The simple conversation should be enough for her to get the hint to stop!
