A week to go until Election Day

Make a plan to vote! One week until the Nov. 3, 2020 Presidenti­al General Election. Have you returned your ballot to the Logan County Clerk’s of fice? You do not have to wait until election day to cast your vote.

We appreciate receiving voted ballots early so our election judges can start processing. The earlier ballots are returned, the earlier unof ficial election night results can be released.

All voted ballots and replacemen­t ballots must be returned to the Logan County Clerk and Recorder’s Of fice, 315 Main St. Suite 3, Sterling, CO 80751 by 7 p.m. Nov. 3, 2020. Social distancing rules will apply in the building.

Please vote your mail ballot! Due to COVID-19: Please help us make this a safe election for ever yone by returning your mail ballot

We highly recommend at this time that you:

• Drop your ballot in the 24/7 Drive Up Drop Box located in the Cour thouse parking lot (Ash Street entrance) east side of the parking area (no postage necessar y). (look for the flags)

• Drop your ballot off at the Logan County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at 315 Main Street, Sterling, CO 80751, located on the first floor, northwest corner of the Cour thouse.

REMEMBER: Postmarks do not count; it is too late to mail!

Your ballot must be in the possession of the Logan County Clerk and Recorder by 7 p.m. Nov. 3, 2020.

Need to register or did not receive your ballot? You may bring identifica­tion and register and vote at the Voter Ser vice and Polling Center location and obtain a ballot and vote.

You do not have to wait until election day to cast your vote!

Check your mail-in ballot status online: If you would like to verify that your ballot was received by our of fice you can log onto www.govotecolo­rado.gov or sign up for ballottrax at voteloganc­ounty.ballottrax.net.

Election results: Unof ficial election results will be posted Election Night, Nov. 3, 2020 after 7 p.m. when ballot processing is complete. Results will be on our website at https://logancount­y.colorado.gov under the Clerk and Recorder’s Depar tment or on the following link: https:// results.enr.clarityele­ctions.com/co/ Logan/106014/. This link will not be available until after 7 p.m. on Election Day. Results will also be posted in the East hallway at the Cour thouse. Important dates for the 2020 General Election:

• Logan County Clerk and Recorder’s Office Election Depar tment will be open on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for ballot drop off, replacemen­t ballots.

• Nov. 3, 2020: ELECTION DAY.

Logan County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 315 Main Street, Suite 3, Sterling, CO 80751. ADDITIONAL VSPC LOCATIONS AVAILABLE ON ELECTION DAY ONLY: Logan County Heritage Center, 821 N. Division Ave., Sterling. Logan County Extension Of fice, 508 S. 10th Ave., Sterling.

Ballottrax is a free service for Logan County Voters that allows you to track the status of your ballot online, as well as receive messages by text, phone or email when your ballot has been sent to you and received by our Elections Division. Logan County voters may sign up at voteloganc­ounty.ballottrax.net.
