American Legion Auxiliary awards 2 scholarships
The American Legion Auxiliary for Post No. 20 in Sterling has awarded two $500 scholarships to 2021 high school graduates. This year's recipients were Delayne Kuntz (right), a Merino graduate, and Allie Schumacher (left), a Sterling graduate. Both girls at present are attending Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, and they both have plans to eventually transfer to a four-year school and pursue an education in the medical field.
