Transwest Chevrolet

- By Logan County Chamber of Commerce

Transwest Chevrolet was established in June 2016. George and Barb Eidsness purchased the location from Ron Korf of Korf Continental. In the fall of 2016, they broke ground on their new state-of-the-art facility and moved into their new store in June of 2017.

Transwest Chevrolet primarily services Northeastern Colorado as well as Western Nebraska. They offer complete vehicle ownership experience at Transwest Chevrolet. Not only can you purchase your new Chevrolet or preowned vehicle here, but they also offer GM parts, Freightliner parts, and vehicle services.

Transwest Chevrolet has a few new management faces. Shawn Cochran took over as General Manager after longtime GM Mike Schadegg retired on Nov. 1. Shawn was previously the Finance Manager and held that position since they opened in June of 2016. Since taking over he has wasted no time in revamping their processes and policies to make things more efficient and with his leadership they look to grow quickly.

Allen Chartier moved from his role in sales to take over as their Finance Manager and lead a sales team that boasts over 80 years of sales experience in this area between four salesmen. Suffice it to say they know the area and the people in the small communities that they serve.

Austin Pierce took over in April as their Parts Manager after he worked in both parts and service over the last 4 years. He leads a dedicated team for not only the light duty parts division but also heads up their heavy-duty division. Collectively his team has over 30 years of parts counter experience. Dustin Lind heads up their service department as he took over a year ago. Dustin has been proactively involved in the training of their technicians to ensure they become master tech certified. Transwest Chevrolet can now boast that 3 of their 4 technicians are fully certified and equipped to handle all GM repairs.

Transwest Chevrolet is proud to say that most if not all of their employees are rooted in the small towns that surround their community, creating a true family environment and an overall ability to not only service their customers but to know them as well. They like to say they are “small enough to know your name, and large enough to serve your needs”.

Transwest Chevrolet dealership is actively involved in the community. They donate their time, money, and energy every year to the Logan County Fair and Rodeo, annual Meat-in, local high schools and FFA programs, Flatlanders car show, Hospice of the Plains annual fundraiser, and countless other volunteer events around many of the communities they serve.
