The 10 most expensive homes sold in Tazewell County in October

Just two months after a Morton home sold for over $1 million, only one home sold in Tazewell County in October cleared the $500,000 hurdle.

That home was one of two Morton residences that placed in the 10 most expensive homes sold last month. Washington, typically a mainstay of this monthly round-up, had the most homes with four.

Here’s a full look at the list.

10. 1105 Highview Road, East Peoria

Built in 1957 on a 1.7-acre lot, this 2,120-square-foot ranch contains three bedrooms and three baths. Key selling points included hardwood floors, a two-sided stone fireplace, a finished outbuildin­g, granite kitchen counter tops, and a partially finished basement.

The home was sold Oct. 20 for $310,000. Keller Williams Premier Realty was the listing agency.

9. 808 Patricia St., Washington

This 2,217-square-foot ranch occupies a 10,625square-foot lot and features a partially finished basement with a recreation room, a patio, a gas log living room fireplace and cathedral ceilings. Built in 2007, the home contains three bedrooms and three baths.

RE/MAX WRC Downtown listed the property. It was sold Oct. 26 for $334,000.

8. 207 Amelia Drive, East Peoria

This two-story home offers 3,200 square feet of living space and contains five bedrooms and three baths. Built in 2008 on a .3-acre lot, it features a wooded back yard with a patio and above-ground pool; a partially finished basement with a recreation room and theater room; a large family room with a gas fireplace and hardwood flooring throughout the main level.

Keller Williams Revolution listed the home, which was sold Oct. 13 for $350,000.

7. 4 Somerset Court, Washington

This 2,512-square-foot home in Washington’s Devonshire Estates was built in 1991 and offers easy access to Washington Park and Washington Pool. The home has a screened-in patio, a landscaped back yard, granite kitchen counter tops, and three attached garage spaces. It contains four bedrooms and three baths.

Listed with Jim Maloof/Realtor, the home was sold Oct. 23 for $358,000.

6. 570 N. Pleasant Hill Road, East Peoria

This 2,815-square-foot ranch was custom-built in 2010 and contains three bedrooms and four baths. It features a 2.3-acre wooded lot with four-wheeler trails, a finished walk-out basement and a shelter room for severe weather, and a gas log great room fireplace.

Caldwell Banker Real Estate Group listed the property. It was sold Oct. 2 for $375,000.

5. 14 Hawthorn Court, Morton

This two-story, 3,084-square-foot home was built in 2001 and contains four bedrooms and four baths. It features a 1.2-acre wooded lot, hardwood floors, a gas log great room fireplace, and a partially finished basement with a family room with a projector and a big screen.

Listed with Keller Williams Premier Realty, the home was sold Oct. 20 for $418,000.

4. 112 E. Lee St., Tremont

This two-story home contains four bedrooms and four baths in 2,192 square feet of living space. Built in 2019 on a .3a-cre lot, it features exterior stonework, landscapin­g, a two-story foyer, a two-story great room with a two-story gas fireplace and a large back yard patio.

Keller Williams Revolution was the listing realtor. The home was sold Oct. 6 for $457,500.

3. 209 Saddlerock Drive, Washington

Listing agency RE/MAX Traders Unlimited described this new two-story, four-bedroom, threebathr­oom home as “almost ready for move-in.” At 2,381 square feet and occupying a .3-acre lot, it features a partially finished basement plumbed for an additional bathroom, bedroom and living area; Merillat Masterpiec­e kitchen cabinetry; veined quartz kitchen counters and an attached three-stall garage.

The home was sold Oct. 25 for $480,100.

2. 909 Hillcrest Dive, Washington

Built in 1993, this 1.5-story home offers four bedrooms and five baths in 5,589 square feet of living space. Amenities include a great room with a vaulted wood ceiling, skylights and a brick fireplace; a sunroom; a hearth room with an informal dining area and a fireplace; and a finished basement with a bar and an exercise room,

RE/MAX WRC Downtown listed the property. It was sold Oct. 12 for $485,000.

1. 20 Grey Wolf Court, Morton

Key selling points for this all-brick ranch in Morton’s Wolf Crossing neighborho­od included an irrigation system; brick-edged landscapin­g; a covered patio; and a finished basement with a billiard room, custom bar with quartz tops, and a theater room with a 100inch screen and tiered seating. Built in 2008 on a .6acre lot, its 4,552 square feet of living space contain five bedrooms and four baths.

The property was listed with RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and was sold Oct. 20 for $545,000.
