Finishing Materials & Instructions

• 10" x 5" piece 28- count Vichy linen by

Nikyscreations* for lining • 5" x 5" square coordinating felt • Two coordinating buttons • 12" coordinating cording • Coordinating embroidery floss

Press stitched piece and straighten gently. Trim excess fabric so that stitched piece measures 10" x 5" with design centered on front. Pin stitched piece and unstitched lining right sides together, leaving a small opening for turning; sew together using 1/4" seam allowance. Turn right side out and hand-stitch opening closed. Using coordinating floss, work blanket stitch around edge of seam.

Referring to photograph throughout, fold cording in half around fold; attach to inside and outside of needlebook using a few tacking stitches of matching floss. Knot cord ends together at bottom and leave ends hanging. Attach buttons at corners of needlebook as shown.

Trim felt square as desired; stitch top edge inside needlebook.
