• 15" x 13" piece 28- count antique white Cashel linen from Zweigart®/ Needlework­er’s Delight

• One skein each Sullivans® USA

six-strand embroidery floss

• Size 24 tapestry needle

Note: You will need one skein each of these additional Sullivans® USA flosses to complete the Sampler:

45053 – black

45095 – blown, lt.

45105 – avocado green, lt.

45123 – violet, vy. dk.

45279 – avocado green, med.

45382 – peacock blue, vy. dk.

45383 – peacock blue, lt.

45417 – straw, dk.

Notes: Fabric and materials given are for the entire project. The chart will be presented over six consecutiv­e issues.

The Stitch Count gives the width and length of the outer border that surrounds the entire Sampler to help with placement of Blocks 1 and 2.

Row 1, Box 1: Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss.

Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss.

Work long-arm cross stitch using two strands of floss.

Row 1, Box 2: Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss.

Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss.

Work four-sided stitch using two strands of floss.
