Press stitched pieces from reverse side, straightening as much as possible. Trim each stitched piece to 1" from stitching on all sides.
Cut matching pieces of coordinating fabric to desired size for front and back of wall hanging, being sure to include seam allowance. Set aside back panel.
Fold under seam allowance on all sides of stitched pieces, making sure sides are square, and press seams. Sew mini pompom trim around the perimeter of each stitched piece. Arrange stitched pieces as desired on front of fabric panel. Pin in place and sew to panel.
Place assembled front panel and back panel right sides together, aligning edges. Sew down both long sides of panels, leaving ends open. Turn wall hanging right side out; press.
Cut two 31/2" x 111/2" strips of fabric for binding for top and bottom of wall hanging. With right sides together, center and pin long edge of one fabric strip to the bottom edge of wall hanging with ends extending past the sides of wall hanging. Stitch along full long edge of fabric strip using 1/2" seam allowance.
