Winter’s intricate mascot takes center stage on this towel and coaster set. Using a prefinished towel with an inset stitching band and clear acrylic coasters make finishing a breeze.

• One white Estate hand towel with 16- count Aida insert from Charles Craft®

• Two 7" x 7" pieces 28- count Twilight

Cashel linen from Picture This Plus • One skein Gloriana Threads hand

dyed silk floss

• One skein Weeks Dye Works™ Hand

Over Dyed Floss

• Size 24 tapestry needle *DMC® alternatives are not one-to- one equivalents to the floss suggested by the designer. To achieve results pictured, use the floss listed in the first column.

Hand Towel Instructions

Cross stitch over one square using three strands of floss. Where small symbols appear, work 1/4 cross stitch using three strands of floss.

Backstitch over one square using two strands of floss.

Work straight stitch using one strand of floss.

Work round eyelet stitch over six squares using three strands of floss.

Coasters Instructions

Note: Stitch snowflakes separately for each coaster.

Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Where small symbols appear, work 1/4 cross stitch using two strands of floss.

Back stitch over two threads using one strand of floss.

Work straight stitch using one strand of floss.

Finishing Materials & Instructions

• Two blank 3"- diameter acrylic coasters with insert

Press stitched pieces from reverse side, straightening as much as possible. Using coaster insert as a template, center design and trace around outer edge of insert. Trim fabric on traced line and fit stitched piece inside coaster.

Replace insert to secure fabric inside coaster.
