Just Cross Stitch

One Stitch Ahead

-

Welcome to the spring issue of Just CrossStitch! We’re glad to have you join us as we share projects featuring spring blooms, St. Patrick’s Day motifs, the Easter season, and designs to welcome the new babies that have or will soon be joining your families. Each of these pieces features fresh and vibrant colors that reflect the look and feel of the spring season. With 25 projects to choose from, which one will you stitch first?

As we planned the issue, the New Baby Sampler on page 54 stood out to me as a special project. Our newest grandson, Asher Blake, joined our family recently, so I decided to start my own version of this sampler to commemorate his birth. Along with the green floss in the sampler included in the issue, I chose soft gray and an earthy brown as the color palette for Asher’s sampler— colors that will match his nursery perfectly. Adding the personalization was a fun challenge on this Assisi-style design, making the project even more enjoyable to stitch.

Does one of the projects featured in this issue have special meaning to you? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at Editor@ Just-CrossStitch.com to share your story.

As always, please keep sharing pictures of your latest works-in-progress on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and be sure to tag us! We will look forward to seeing the projects that you’re working on this spring!

Until next issue, friends,

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Thessalonians 5:23
