Instructions
Cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss. Where small symbols appear, work 1/4 cross stitch using two strands of floss. When two colors are bracketed together, use one strand of floss and two strands of blending filament.
Work left-slanting 1/2 cross stitch over two threads using two strands of floss.
Backstitch over two threads using one strand of floss except where indicated otherwise in color code.
Work straight stitch using one strand of floss.
Work star stitch over four threads using one strand of floss.
Attach beads using 1/2 cross stitch and one strand of floss to match background.

Place stitched piece facedown on ironing surface. Cover back with pressing cloth and press carefully, straightening as much as possible.
Trim stitched piece to 11/2" from stitched design on each side and bottom edge, and 21/2" from stitching at top edge.
Cut backing fabric to same size as trimmed stitched piece along sides and bottom. Cut top edge 1" shorter than stitched piece.
Place stitched piece and backing fabric right sides facing, aligning sides and bottom edge. Using a 1/2" seam allowance, sew down sides and across bottom, leaving the top 1/4" of both side seams unsewn. Trim bottom corners to 1/4".
Turn assembled piece right side out and gently press side and bottom seams. Fold bottom edge to the back side 1/2" and press. Hemstitch along sewn edge to create bottom hanger sleeve.
Fold unsewn side seams and top 1/4" of backing fabric to the wrong side and press.
Fold in raw sides of linen so that sides match width of stitched sides; press. Fold raw top edge of linen to wrong side 1/2" and press. Fold linen down to back of wall hanging so that front of stitched piece has 1" allowance between stitching and top of fabric edge. Secure linen to backing fabric using hemstitch to create top hanger sleeve, leaving sides open.
Slide assembled piece on bell pull hardware.
