Electrical Maintenance Technician

GrafTech has an opening for a Electrical Maintenance Technician at our St. Marys, PA facility. This position will be on a 12 hour rotating DuPont shift. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Perform necessary inspection and repair to all plant equipment while following site and regulatory health, safety & environmental policies and procedures.

Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, cranes, lathes, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production machines: ability to read blueprints, sketches, operations manuals, engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using specialized maintenance tools and electrical measuring devices. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical malfunctions, and machine breakdowns. Responsible for working at heights, and in outdoor conditions. Utilize computerized maintenance management system for tracking of maintenance checks and repairs.

The ideal candidate would possess five years industrial maintenance experience. A technical training degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
