Lick N Sip integrates the Sip Side
Lick N Sip in Mount Jewett, owned by Tom Haberberger and Mickey Freer, is officially open after purchasing the Tasty Freeze in late 2021.
On Saturday, Tom Haberberger, who is largely engaged with local business, was outside of Lick N Sip greeting customers, asking if their order was perfect and thanking the customers.
One major change to the Tasty Freeze that belonged to Bob and Mary Arthurs (Bob & Mary’s Corner, 38 East Main Street, Mount Jewett) back in the 80s is the Sip Side. Though over the years, Bob & Mary’s Corner was demolished and a new building resurrected, the building currently standing has gone through several owners first and then was purchased by Tom and Mickey.
Lick N Sip is currently in the stages of making all ideas available to the community all the while with new ideas arising.
While talking to Haberberger outside of Lick N Sip, he told The Kane Republican that he and Mickey are thinking of everyone, including diabetics and lactose intolerant individuals.
“Stop in and get your picture taken in our new postcard-style painting created by Clarissa Burford from Port Allegany,” Haberberger said.
The postcard is Bigfoot-themed with holes to put your face in for a photo. Along with the Bigfoot-theme, there is a Bigfoot crossing sign.
Haberberger talked to Earl the Sasquatch and asked if he would like to make appearances at the Lick N Sip. Earl stated that he would love to make appearances and it would make a “nice addition for the Bigfoot-theme you have going on here.”
