Pennsylvania State Police At Lewis Run Accident

ELDRED TWP (MCKEAN) - On September 30, 2023 at 12:57 p.m., PSP Lewis Run responded to the scene of an accident at Rt. 446/ Seal Ln. The crash occurred as Carrin Tarr, 37 of Roulette, PA. driving a 2009 Chevy Malibu attempted to make a turn across the oncoming lane of travel and was struck by Richard Duzick, 64 of Coudersport, PA. driving a 2020 Dodge Ram. Both units sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported. The Tarr vehicle was towed from the scene by Donovan's Towing.

Accident

KEATING TWP (MCKEAN) - On October 7, 2023 at 10:22 p.m., PSP Lewis Run responded to Valley Cross Rd. at its intersection with Pa. 46. The crash occurred as Carie Collins, 40 of Olean, PA. driving a 2022 Chevy Silverado left the roadway and struck a metal fence post. The vehicle then backed up and struck the fence post again. The vehicle backed up again and then continued on to Valley Cross Rd. and did not notify police or the property owner of the damage. Collins was located away from the scene and charged with Driving under the Influence and multiple summary violations through 483-02. PSP were assisted by Smethport Borough Police, Port Allegany Police and C.L. Mckeirnan Towing.

DUI

BRADFORD TWP (MCKEAN) - On October 12, 2023 a 11:28 p.m., PSP Lewis Run were on patrol at South Ave./minard Run Rd. when they observed a Title 75 violation. A traffic stop was initiated and through further investigation the operator was placed under arrest for DUI. Charges pending.

Found Property/ Drugs

MT. JEWETT BORO (MCKEAN) - On October 13, 2023 at 7:45 p.m., PSP Lewis Run were dispatched to 62 E. Main

St. for drugs found at the resident's home. A clear bag with suspected marijuana inside was seized from a baby stroller on the front porch of the residence.

DUI

OTTO TWP (MCKEAN) - On October 14, 2023 at 2:00 a.m., PSP Lewis Run were on routine patrol at Sweitzer Dr./kansas Branch Rd. and observed a Title 75 violation. Through further investigation the operator was determined to be under the influence and subsequently placed under arrest. Charges pending.

DUI

KEATING TWP (MCKEAN) - On October 17, 2023 at 6:57 p.m., PSP Lewis Run were on patrol at Droney Rd./rt. 646 and observed a Title 75 violation. Through further investigation the operator was discovered to be DUI.

Accident

ELDRED TWP (MCKEAN) - On October 18, 2023 at 9:24 p.m., PSP Lewis Run responded to Rt. 155/Sartwell Creek Rd. for an accident. The crash occurred as Destynie Stanton, 22 of Port Allegany, PA. driving a 2010 Chevy HHR was heading south on Rt. 155 when a deer entered the roadway from the east heading west and struck the Stanton vehicle. The vehicles front air bags deployed and came to a controlled stop on the south bound shoulder. PSP were assisted on scene by Eldred Twp. Volunteer Fire Department and C.L. Mckeirnan Towing.

Drug Possession

BRADFORD CITY (MCKEAN) - On October 19, 2023 at 6:28 p.m., PSP Lewis Run conducted a traffic stop for a summary traffic violation. After further investigation the operator was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and related paraphernalia as well as driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A passenger in the vehicle was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and related paraphernalia. Charges are pending District Court 48-1-01.
