Center News for the Week of December 25th to December 29th
It's almost the New Year! May the final days of this year be filled with family, blessings and yummy left overs! This week sees us having a fun Joke Day and well as learning some fun New Year's Facts. This week will also see us with a brand new Senior Center director, Alyse Menteer as we say good-by to Beth as she retires to enter into full time ministry with Ordinary People Ministries.. There is always something going on at the Kane Senior Center-all that is missing is YOU!! The Kane Senior Center-where the coffee is always hot and the conversation always lively! • Monday, December 25th- Merry Christmas! Senior Center is Closed
• Tuesday, December 26th- Senior Center is Closed
• Wednesday, December 27th- Sloppy Joe, Ranch Roasted Potatoes, Island Blend Vegetables, Fresh Fruit and Milk
• Thursday, December 28th – Chicken Marsala, Rice, Brussel Sprouts, Breadstick, Applesauce and Milk
• Friday, December 29th- Stadium Hot Dog, Sauerkraut, Cheesy Potatoes, Green Beans, Fruit and Milk

Walking Club
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 am, the seniors from the center will be headed out to walk at the Kane Community Center. The gals are heading outdoors for their walks but on rainy days they still walk at the Kane Community Center. Walking is almost the perfect exercise and it is so much fun to have some folks to walk with….why not join us today?

Did you know that every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am - 10:30 am, at the Kane Senior Center, you have an opportunity to exercise and make the plan to get into shape a reality? The folks that work out, led by Fern Throne are so dedicated to physical activity and would LOVE for you to join them. They work on the areas of balance, agility and strength training…all areas that are weakened as we grow older. Come and join in the fun!!! We would love to help you get on your way to a healthier, happier YOU!!

On Wednesday, December 27th beginning at 11:45 am we will be sharing a Christmas joke or two. Do you love to laugh? We sure do and we are always looking for some funny, good clean jokes!!
Factual Fun
This week on Thursday, December 28th at 11:45 am, we will be having some Factual Fun. Today we will be talking about some fun New Year Facts. Let's have some fun learning together. Why not stop in and learn with all of us!!!
BINGO
On Friday, December 29th at 10:30 am, the members at the Kane Senior Center will be playing BINGO!!! The games start at 10:30 am. BINGO is available to all members of the Kane Senior Center. The 11 games start at 10:30 am so you might as well play BINGO and stay for lunch!!
