After the Mckean County Republican Committee's Spring Dinner, held on Thursday, State Senator Cris Dush shared his thoughts on the event's importance. He mentioned that his usual schedule in Mckean County involves rushing from one meeting to another, leaving little time for socializing. However, he expressed gratitude for events like the Spring Dinner, which allowed him to bring his wife, Traci, along. This social aspect is significant to Dush as he believes that personal relationships play a vital role in finding effective solutions to various issues.

He also appreciated the opportunity to connect with others, hear their life experiences, and engage in meaningful dialogue, which fosters unique ideas, strengthens community bonds, and promotes team building.

“I'm blessed to represent so many talented people who are so dedicated to their communities,” he conveyed.

Mayor of Mount Jewett Borough, Brianna Howard, emphasized the importance of the Mckean County GOP spring event by highlighting its role as a reminder of the ongoing efforts “here in our own backyard”. She expressed that the event serves as a crucial reminder of the work being done locally to ensure that leaders who align with the rural values of the area are representing them effectively both in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.

“I was thankful for the highlighting of many young people, including myself, at the event. It's critical that young Pennsylvanians become engaged in the election process to ensure our future is in good hands,” she expressed.
