CHESTERTOWN — Edith Louise Wal­lace of Milling­ton died on April 26, 2018, at Com­pass Re­gional Hospice in Cen­tre­ville. She was 92.

Mrs. Wal­lace had lived in Chestertown Land­ing, Chestertown, for the last sev­eral years. Louise was born on a farm near Milling­ton, the daugh­ter of the late Nor­man “Dick” Wy­att and Martha Alexan­der Wy­att. Upon grad­u­a­tion from Milling­ton High School, she worked briefly at the Milling­ton ACME. She worked at Play­tex in Dover, Del. for over 40 years, re­tir­ing as the se­nior edi­tor in the or­der­ing depart­ment.

“Miss Louise” was a vol­un­teer for the Milling­ton Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany Ladies Aux­il­iary. She was an ac­tive life mem­ber of As­bury United Methodist Church in Milling­ton, as well as a mem­ber of the church’s United Methodist Women’s Group. She was also a trustee of the church.

Mrs. Wal­lace en­joyed trav­el­ing, play­ing cards with friends and spend­ing time with her fam­ily, es­pe­cially her grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren. She also loved shop­ping and cro­chet­ing beau­ti­ful items for her fam­ily.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her beloved hus­band of 58 years Robert S. Wal­lace and three sis­ters.

Mrs. Wal­lace is sur­vived by two sons, Wy­att K. Wal­lace of Per­ryville and Stan­ley R. Wal­lace of Galena; five grand­chil­dren; and 13 great­grand­chil­dren.

Fu­neral ser­vices were held Mon­day April 30, at Fel­lows Fam­ily Fu­neral Home, Milling­ton. In­ter­ment fol­lowed ser­vices in As­bury Ceme­tery in Millingon.
