Po­lice say seized co­caine was pack­aged for re­sale

ROCK HALL — The Kent County Nar­cotics Task Force charged Ar­nell Lee War­ren, 48, of Rock Hall with pos­ses­sion of a nar­cotic with in­tent to dis­trib­ute af­ter seiz­ing sus­pected pow­dered and crack co­caine from his home in the 21000-block of Striper Run on April 4.

War­ren was re­leased af­ter post­ing $10,000 un­se­cured per­sonal bond.

Ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease from the task force, po­lice served a search and seizure war­rant at War­ren’s res­i­dence shortly be­fore 10 a.m. April 4. Items seized in­cluded 72.7 grams of sus­pected pow­dered co­caine, 29.2 grams of sus­pected crack co­caine, a dig­i­tal scale, pack­ag­ing ma­te­rial and “ev­i­dence of long-term dis­tri­bu­tion,” ac­cord­ing to the news re­lease.

The co­caine was pack­aged for sale, ac­cord­ing to the news re­lease.

War­ren was charged with pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia; two counts of pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled dan­ger­ous sub­stance that is not mar­i­juana; and two counts of pos­ses­sion of a nar­cotic with in­tent to dis­trib­ute.
