2018 elec­tion anal­y­sis with the Demo­cratic Club of Kent County

CHESTERTOWN — The pub­lic is in­vited to a pre­sen­ta­tion Dec. 13 of an anal­y­sis of the mid-term elec­tions hosted by the Demo­cratic Club of Kent County.

Dan Nataf, direc­tor of the Cen­ter for the Study of Lo­cal Is­sues in An­napo­lis, will of­fer in­sights into the re­sults of the 2018 elec­tion, no­tably Mary­land’s 1st Con­gres­sional Dis­trict, as well as statewide out­comes, and look ahead to 2020.

The ques­tion of how and when to re-draw the lines for the ger­ry­man­dered 1st Dis­trict also will be dis­cussed, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease.

Join the DCKC at the Ch­ester River Yacht and Coun­try Club, 7738 Quaker Neck Road, Chestertown. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a so­cial time; food and bev­er­ages avail­able for pur­chase. At 6:45 p.m. there will be brief busi­ness meeting; the main pro­gram starts at 7 p.m.
