William H. Reinbold
CHESTERTOWN — William Herman Reinbold of Chestertown died Nov. 30, 2018 at his home. He was 92. He was born in Williamsport, Pa. on March 10, 1926, the son of the late George W. and Emma Pearl Schram Reinbold.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a Purple Heart Recipient. Mr. Reinbold was the epitome of a nature lover, he nursed baby birds back to heath, enjoyed being in and around nature and animals and taught his family to respect and appreciate nature. His love of nature inspired him to become a respected artist making
not only jewelry, but bird carvings. He also was an inventor and always wanted to help to “make a better mouse trap.”
He is survived by his wife Catherine Viggars Reinbold; two daughters, Amy R. Ogram of Coatesville, Pa. and Linda R. Poirier of LeGrange, Maine; and three sons, William James Reinbold of Ladenberg, Pa., Carl Wm. Reinbold of Wilmington, Del. and Andrew Wm. Reinbold of Greensboro, N.C.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 15, at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown.
