James A. Faulkner Sr.

GOLDS­BORO — James Allen Faulkner Sr. of Golds­boro passed away on Dec. 16, 2018 at his home. He was 78.

James was born on April 27, 1940, the son of the late Eve­lyn Teat Faulkner and Nel­son Faulkner Sr.

He spent most of his life farm­ing and en­joyed rid­ing his horse, trail rides and be­ing a part of the Rough Rid­ers.

Along with his par­ents, he was pre­ceded in death by his brother Nel­son Faulkner Jr.

James is sur­vived by his three chil­dren, Terri Con­ley of Har­mony, James Faulkner Jr. of Har­mony and Kelly Tow­ers (Paul) of Den­ton. He also is sur­vived by three grand­sons, Brad Wal­bert of Ridgely and Dakota Tow­ers and Chase Tow­ers of Den­ton; and his for­mer wife Connie Faulkner of Har­mony.

Funeral ser­vices were held on Wed­nes­day, Dec. 26, at Fel­lows Fam­ily Funeral Home, Milling­ton. In­ter­ment was in Crumpton Ceme­tery fol­low­ing the

ser­vice.
