Week 3 of the TSSAA high school football season has passed. Here’s a look at the best players in games involving Knoxville-area teams.

Izaiah Hall, Anderson County: Hall completed 32 of 50 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-27 loss to Bearden.

Xavian James, Anderson County: James had 15 catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

Waylon LaRue, Anderson County: LaRue had 20 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Trent Strickland, Anderson County: Strickland had nine catches for 105 yards and a touchdown.

Demarco Allen, Austin-East: Allen had eight solo tackles and two assisted tackles in a 55-51 loss to South-Doyle. Shane Cherry, Austin-East: Cherry completed 12 of 22 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown and had 14 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Dimere Ligon, Austin-East: Ligon had eight rushing attempts for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns.

James Niyonkuru, Austin-East: Niyonkuru had eight solo tackles, four tackles for loss, one assisted tackle, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery Joseph Armenta, Carter: Armenta had 7.5 tackles in a 49-29 win over Gatlinburg-Pittman.

Isaiah Monday, Carter: Monday completed 21 of 26 passes for 307 yards with three touchdowns and one intercepti­on.

Spener Russell, Carter: Russell had eight catches for 124 yards with two touchdowns and 14 carries for 61 yards and. Jody Scruggs, Carter: Scruggs had 16 carries for 119 yards with two touchdowns and nine receptions for 90 yards.

Keagon Cowan, Campbell County: Cowan had 12 rushes for 136 yards with two touchdowns in a 36-33 win over The King’s Academy.

Landon Hensley, Campbell County: Hensley completed 17 of 29 passes for 279 yards with two touchdowns and two intercepti­ons.

Will Kelley, Christian Academy of Knoxville: Kelley had four receptions for 76 Yards and a touchdown in a 30-8 loss to Boyd-Buchanan.

Maddox Mozingo, Christian Academy of Knoxville: Mozingo had 13 total tackles, including two for loss.

Jaiden Bunch, Coalfield: Bunch had 14 carries for 113 yards and a touchdown in a 28-0 win over Greenback.

Brooks Burnette, Farragut: Burnette had two catches for 85 yards with a touchdown in a 38-31 loss to West. Landon Collins, Farragut: Collins had four catches for 134 yards with two touchdowns.

Cam Duncan, Farragut: Duncan completed 14 of 28 passes for 296 yards with four touchdowns and two intercepti­ons. Boone Brockwell, Gibbs: Brockwell had 12 rushes for 161 yards and five touchdowns.

Brady Hughes, Gibbs: Hughes had 13 tackles and an intercepti­on in a 49-20 win over Karns. Cash Mount, Gibbs: Mount had 10 tackles, including a sack for a loss of three yards. Corbin Cannon, Greenevill­e: Cannon completed three of four passes for 114 yards with a touchdown in a 69-0 win over Cherokee.

Caden Baugh, Greenevill­e: Baugh completed all six of his passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Andrew Beeler, Hardin Valley Academy: Beeler had two tackles, one for loss and a forced fumble he recovered for a touchdown.

Brady Loveland, Hardin Valley Academy: Loveland had eight rushes for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Kaden Cutcher, Hardin Valley Academy: Cutcher had two solo tackles, six assisted tackles, a safety and an intercepti­on returned for a touchdown. Bryson Ballard, Jellcio: Ballard had five tackles, two for a loss and an intercepti­on returned for a touchdown in a 14-7 win over North Greene

Owen Morgan, Jellico: Morgan completed 10 of 11 passes for 112 yards. Samuel Profitt, Jellico: Profitt had nine tackles, two for a loss and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Tyreek King, Knoxville Catholic: King had three catches for 97 yards with a touchdown in a 35-8 win over St. Paul’s Episcopal. Jayden Neal, Knoxville Catholic: Neal completed all six of his passes for 140 yards and three touchdowns.

Markeis Barrett, Knoxville Webb: Barrett had five catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-7 win over Silverdale.

Cooper Cameron, Knoxville Webb: Cameron had eight tackles, including one tackle for loss.

Jalen Hill, Knoxville Webb: Hill had 10 carries for 119 yards with a touchdown. Gregory Tate, Knoxville Webb: Tate had two intercepti­ons and one defensive touchdown. He also had five catches for 31 yards and a touchdown.

Jack Wagner, Knoxville Webb: Wagner completed 16 of 22 passes for 189 yards with four touchdowns.

Britton Barrett, Maryville: Barrett had six catches for 67 yards with a touchdown. Casey Cobble, Maryville: Cobble had 14 rushes for 91 yards and completed six of 11 passes 40 yards in a 21-13 loss to Bradley Central. De'Jauvis Dozier, Oak Ridge: Dozier had 18 carries for 113 rushing yards with two touchdowns in a 35-21 win over Powell Brandon Heyward, Oak Ridge: Heyward had five catches for 86 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Vashawn Nalls, Oak Ridge: had 13 tackles and an intercepti­on.

Blaine Stansberry, Oak Ridge: Stansberry completed 10 of 17 passes for 238 yards with two touchdowns and two intercepti­ons. Fabby Neiwoh, Powell: Neiwoh had five catches for 113 yards in a 35-21 loss to Oak Ridge.

Deuce Rodgers, Powell: Rodgers completed 12 of 18 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown. He also had 18 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Connor Wheeler, Powell: Wheeler had 26 carries for 126 yards.

Tyson Franklin, Sevier County: Franklin had three catches for 98 yards with two touchdowns in a 31-13 win over Lenoir City.

Cooper Newman, Sevier County: Newman completed seven of 12 passes for 153 yards with two touchdowns and an intercepti­on.

Peyton Brooks, The King's Academy: Brooks had nine carries for 104 yards with two touchdowns in a 36-33 loss to Campbell County

Alijah Davidson, The King's Academy: Davidson had 23 rushes for 173 yards with two touchdowns.

Elijah Williams Smith, The King's Academy: Williams Smith completed 21 of 36 passes for 192 yards with two touchdowns. He also had four carries for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Marshaun Bowers. West: Bowers had 18 carries for 141 yards and a touchdown, two catches for 45 receiving yards and a touchdown and a 95-yard kick return touchdown in a 38-31 win over Farragut. On defense, he had an intercepti­on.

Hunter Dance, West: Dance completed 17 of 29 passes for 187 yards with three touchdowns and an intercepti­on. Antwain Burdine, West: Burdine had five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

Wyatt Deroche, West: Deroche had eight tackles, including three sacks.

CJ Smith, West: Smith had seven tackles, including two sacks.
