Loretta Louise Tillery (Noot) was born on September 11, 1949 to Myrtle Louise Tillery and the late William Hartwell Tillery. She departed this life and gained her heavenly wings on October 15, 2023. She received Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Loretta was known for being a provider and nurturer. She cared for anyone she came across and had a deep love for her loved ones. She gained her wings preceded in death by daughter-Barbara Louise Mize, son-Charles Mize, father William Hartwell

Tillery Sr., sisters-Patricia Tillery Matlock, Juanita Tillery Bailey, brother-Christophe­r “Clay” Tillery, grandparen­ts-James Samuel & Mary Hudson Tillery and Fennie and Bessie Brown.

Loretta leaves to cherish her memories her Children: James Mize, Minister Reuben (Marsha) Mitchell, and daughter Lenora (Amin) Farooq. Grandhchil­dren/Great Grandchild­ren: Latasha Mize, Mercedes Mitchell, Marquendra Mitchell, Alyssa Mitchell Amariyah Mitchell, Zion Mitchell, Jayce Mize, Lamonte Mize, Lamarkese Mize, Roxanna Mize, Babriana Mize, Bradasia Jones, Akuma Mercadante, Mirajah MItchell, and many more great great grandchild­ren. Mother Myrtle Louise Tillery, sisters-Bessie Littlejohn,Ella Chigano, brothers- William (Michelle) Virginia Beach, VA, Donald, Clifford, Michael (Binky), Timothy (Stephanie), Bryan Tillery, devoted significan­t other of 26 years Samuel Thompson.

She had a lot of nieces/nephews including great and great-greats extended families to include the Roberts, Stinsons, Hudgens, Wrights, Browns, Hairston, Littlejohn­s and many other relatives.

The family will receive on Saturday, October 28,2023 from 11am - 12 pm, with the Celebratio­n of Life Service to begin at 12:00 pm at Unity Mortuary 1125 McCalla Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915. Elder Willie Williams presiding and Minister Reuben Mitchell Eulogist.

The final resting place will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery immediatel­y following the service. A dove release will conclude.
