Thomas John Catinella

- Thomas John Catinella, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on February 11th, 2024 in Knoxville, Tennessee from pancreatitis. He was born on December 24th, 1951 in Coral Gables, Florida to loving parents who instilled in him strong family values and the values of hard work and compassion. Thomas was a loving, funny, and hardworking individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Thomas had a successful career as a restaurateur and private chef for over 45 years showcasing his culinary talents and passion for food. He brought joy to many in the Knoxville area through his delicious creations and dedication to his craft. Thomas is survived by his children: Christopher, Jason, Micheal, Anthony, and Sophia. He was also a cherished grandfather to Phoenix, Zane, Skye, Christopher, Jackson, Alexander, Elise, Giada, and Giovani. Thomas leaves behind his siblings, Richard and Carole, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Anthony, and his mother, Carmella. Their loving presence will surely be missed, but their memories will live on through the legacy Thomas leaves behind.

A memorial service to celebrate Thomas’ life will be held at All Saints in Cedar Bluff on February 21, 2024 at 2pm. The service will be a time for family and friends to come together, share stories, and honor the incredible life Thomas lived.
