LOUDON - We sadly announce the passing of

William L. McBee, III, of Loudon, TN. Bill passed on May 8, 2024 in the arms of his loving wife and “soul mate” Katherine. A proud veteran that served in Vietnam, retired Federal Agent, former member of Pine Mountain Railroad and current partner with Provider Resources, INC. He lived a full life always helping others, especially family and friends that he loved dearly. Preceded in death by mother, Mabel Elizabeth Adkins McBee, father, William L. McBee, Jr., brothers-in-law, Kenny Keck, Tony Macias, Eddie Vaughn. Survived by wife of 24 years, Katherine Byrum McBee, children, Jennifer Gibson, Rachel Bailes, Sam (Kristen) McBee, bonus children, Kenny (Candace) Hicks, Lisa (Johnny) Haynes, grandchild­ren, Haiden, David Gibson, Austin, Ellie Bailes, Grace, Benjamin McBee, bonus grandchild­ren, Aaron (Ariel) Stakely, Conner Young, Zachary, Riley Hicks, bonus great-grandchild­ren, Lily, Waylon, Wyatt Stakely, sisters, Dr. Jana Macias, VA, Kathryn Keck, Knoxville, Nancy (Stan) Moss, NC, Ruth (Lamar) Cooley, SC, Mary (Brian) McDonald, Dandridge. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 17, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Pastors, Dwight Henry and Chris McDonald officiatin­g. Family/friends meet at the entrance of Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville, for the interment with military honors at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 18. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America: Shriners Hospital, Louisville, KY. Family will receive friends 5-7:00 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonvil­le.
