Randall Suffridge

KNOXVILLE - Glenn “Randall” Suffridge Jr., age 65, of Mascot, TN passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. Randall accepted Jesus Christ at a young age on Easter Sunday. He was a long time active member of Green Acres Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. Randall was a loving husband, father and friend to all and never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his kindness and the many ways he shared God’s love: mowing other’s lawns, sharing his harvest from his garden and his servant heart. You could always find Randall at the Rodeo loading bulls and steers, pulling ropes, pulling gates and setting up the arena. He proudly served our community for more than 30 years in the funeral industry with McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by father, Glenn Randall Suffridge Sr., mother-in-law, Margie Katherine Williams and several aunts and uncles. Randall is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karen Suffridge; daughter, Kaitlin Suffridge; son, Brent (Kristin) Hansard; mother, Martha Suffridge; sister: Mary Norton; brother, Steve (Carrie) Suffridge; grandchildren: Emma, Elliott; special cousin, Denise Witt; several nieces, nephews; and other extended family members. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 23, 2024, between the hours of 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Green Acres Missionary Baptist Church, 10144 Rutledge Pike, Mascot with a service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tim Muncey and Rev. Buster Gibson. Family and friends will meet Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10:15 AM at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville and go in procession to Clear Springs Cemetery, Mascot for an 11:00 AM Interment officiate by Rev.
