Confrontation at Walgreen’s leads to fatal shooting
Un hombre fue asesinado la semana pasada tras iniciar un bizarro altercado en el Walgreens del Sur de Tulsa. Según indicó la policía William Adolf Hurley de 52 años estaba intentando recoger una fotos que había dejado en una tienda durante más de un año cuando se inició una discusión.
El empleado de la tienda intentó verificar que las fotos le pertenecieran al hombre y Hurley se enojó, sacó un arma y se metió detrás del mostrador, sacó las fotos y amenazó al empleado.
Mientras el empleado llamaba al 911 otro de los empelados de la tienda sacó su propia arma y disparó múltiples rondas hiriendo a Hurley de muerte.
Un cliente y otro empleado fueron heridos por las balas disparadas por uno de los empleados de walgreens, pero la investigación aún no terminó y no se emitieron los cargos. La policía dijo que dos personas que estaban detrás de Hurley resultaron heridas.
El empleado de 28 años que mató a Hurley aún no fue acusado, y tenía licencia para portación de armas. Hurley tenía un vasto prontuario criminal pero su reacción inicial aún es un misterio. Nadie entiende cómo buscar unas fotos terminó con un hombre sin vida. (La Semana)

A man was killed last week following a bizarre confrontation at a Walgreen’s in south Tulsa. Police said that William Adolf Hurley, 52, was attempting to pick up photos that had been left at the store for more than a year.
When the clerk attempted to verify that the photos belonged to him, Hurley reportedly became enraged, brandished a gun, and jumped over the photo counter. Witnesses said Hurley grabbed the photos from the clerk, whom Hurley allegedly threatened to kill.
While the clerk was attempting to call 911, another store employee produced his own gun and fired multiple shots at Hurley, killing him.
A store customer and another worker were hit by bullets that were apparently fired by the Wal- green’s employee, but the investigation is not yet complete. Police did say that the two who were struck were standing behind Hurley.
The 28-year-old Walgreen’s employee who killed Hurley has not been charged and, according to police, had a license for the firearm he used in the confrontation.
Hurley did have a criminal background, but it is a mystery why something as mundane as picking up photos led to such a tragic outcome. (La Semana)
