Festival Americas returns October 9th

-

TULSA, OK – Downtown Tulsa will be a special place to celebrate the rich culture of Tulsa’s Hispanic and Latino community at the 7th annual

Festival Americas. It will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 during National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15).

The colorful multi-cultural festival will include a variety of food flavors from across Latin America, plus live music, dance performances, food trucks, street market, cigar rolling, and activities for all ages. This event will take place in front of the beautiful ONEOK Field between Archer Street and Elgin Avenue.

“We are thrilled to host this for the 7th year and celebrate the rich traditions and heritage of Latin America in the heart of downtown Tulsa,” explained Rodrigo Rojas, the festival’s founder.

This year, Festival Americas is partnering with FC Tulsa to host the street festival around ONEOK Field prior to FC Tulsa's match that evening. Ticket proceeds from the October 9th match will be donated to the Festival Americas College Scholarship Program. Join the festivities before or during Saturday night’s FC Tulsa match and enjoy our pro soccer team as they take the pitch.

In addition to the performers and vendors, Festival Americas aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in Tulsa’s Hispanic and Latino community through college scholarships. Five $1,000 scholarships will be presented to Tulsa area college-bound students during the Festival. In the past seven years, Festival Americas has awarded $35,000 in college scholarships thanks to the support of event sponsors and vendors. Festival Americas is a family friendly event and is free to attend.
