YURI POSTPONES CONCERTS in CDMX and Monterrey due to allegedly low sales and the LGBT community reminds him of “#Yurilamenos”

-

Yuri He announced a few days ago that his concerts for Mexico City and Monterrey with dates for May 27 and June 2 would have to be postponed, without giving more details about the reasons. Before this announcement, the community LGBT+ went viral on social networks that everything is due to low sales, because on the official page of Super Tickets more than 80% of tickets are available for both venues.

Without reaching a truce, the hashtag #Yurilamenos has been placed as one of the most repeated comments on the singer’s social networks, as fans belonging to the community have shown their disapproval of the comments, which have been described as homophobic, that the actress has given on more than one occasion but that have intensified after their participation in the Mexican Drag Queens contest: The Most Dredger.

“Family of Mexico City and Monterrey, I inform you of the rescheduling of the dates of #Euforia in the Arena CDMX and Arena Monterrey,” wrote the interpreter of melodies such as Damn spring, You no longer live in me or behind my window on your official account Instagram.

Since the announcement of the name of his new tour, Yuri has not stopped receiving bad comments on his social networks, as pop culture followers argued that he not only “stole” the title of a successful series from a streaming platform, but also who even copied the colors and designs of his characters. To this bad reception was added the social movement that the LGBT + community has undertaken on social networks to “cancel” the singer after her continuous comments against equal marriage.

“Yuri La Menos” has become a trend since October 26, 2021, when he was part of the artists invited to La Más Draga -in its fourth season-. There he not only exposed his criticism and eliminated a participant, but even gave various tips to the Drag Queens, for which he was cataloged by his fans as an attempt to “make peace” with the gay community, but days later he returned to make “unfortunate” comments.

“If you had doubts that the community will no longer support her, let it be clear that it will not happen again”, “#Yurilamenos is not only a hashtag, but a reminder that we no longer love her, we will not support her”, “Postponed his concerts and he did not say why, but we all know that he is not selling even those from up to now”, “On the concert page you can see that practically everything is still empty”, “Hopefully the singer, now a Christian, realizes that his opinion does matter and that he will no longer treat us like this, ”they wrote in the publication of the announcement.

A few days ago Yuri revealed that he will talk about the “darkest part” of his life in a bioseries, this after the recent confirmation of the project that intends to follow in the footsteps of other colleagues such as Luis Miguel, Alejandra Guzmán and soon Gloria Trevi. The singer also exposed the topics that will be addressed in the program about her life.

“Me I want to talk about the dark part of my life, the darkest part of everything I lived and everything that I and my mom did to each other. There came a time when she didn’t even have enough to pay for electricity; I was hanging from the pole next door; a spectacular house that I had to sell”, said Yuri in an interview for the entertainment program windowingwhere he confessed that the bioseries will show aspects of his life that have not yet been revealed.
