¿Le ha pasado que su memoria del celular se llena con fotos y videos que le envían sus contactos a Whatsapp? Acá le explicaremos cómo puede evitar que estos archivos se guarden en su carrete de fotos.
Cuando usted descarga un archivo multimedia desde Whatsapp, este se guarda automáticamente en la galería de su teléfono. Esto se debe a que cuando usted descarga por primera vez esta aplicación, la opción de Visibilidad de archivos multimedia se encuentra activa de forma predeterminada.
Le enseñaremos cómo puede desactivar esa opción para que las fotos y videos no se descarguen automáticamente.
Para evitar que se guarden los archivos multimedia que recibe en todos los chats y grupos, debe dirigirse a los tres puntos que encuentra en la parte superior de la pantalla. Luego debe dirigirse a Ajustes y seleccionar la opción de Chats. Ahí encontrará la opción Visibilidad de archivos multimedia y podrá desactivarla.
Si tal vez quiere que ciertos chats o grupos en particular no tengan esta opción. Primero debe abrir el chat o grupo, luego debe seleccionar los tres puntos en la parte superior de la pantalla y oprimir Ver contacto o Información del grupo. Al tocar Visibilidad de archivos multimedia se desactiva.
De esta forma podrá evitar que la memoria de su celular se llene con videos y fotos no deseados. Esto funciona tanto para Iphone como para Android.

To prevent the multimedia files you receive in all Whatsapp chats and groups from being saved, follow the steps below.
ON ANDROID:
Select the button in the upper right corner with the three dots
Go to Settings
Select Chats Disable the “Visibility of media files” option
ON IOS:
Click on Settings
Go to chat
Disable Save to Photos
It is also possible that some chats or groups, in particular, do not have this option activated, or on the contrary, that they do have it activated. Here are the steps to follow:
ON ANDROID:
Enter the chat or group Click on the name of the contact or group
Go to Visibility of media files Select Default, Yes or No.
ON IOS:
Enter the chat or group Click on the name of the contact or group
Select Save to Photos and choose Default, Always, or Never.
