DIEGO LAINEZ’S MESSAGE AFTER LOSING TO AMÉRICA

- By Paudal

One of the matches that generated the greatest expectation of Matchday 11 of the Clausura 2023 was the Tigres vs América game, since it meant the reunion of Diego Lainez with the team that debuted him in the First Division, and with which he had the opportunity to return to play after having a first experience in Europe.

However, the performance of Lainez together with that of the San Nicolás de los Garzas squad were surpassed by the Águilas since they took the three points of the date in their visit to the Volcán by beating the felines with a score of 2 – 0. For this reason, in social networks the mockery turned against the former Betis player.

Due to the way in which his team lost and the criticism that Lainez Leyva received on the internet, the Mexican forward used his social networks to send a message to all the fans, through his temporary Instagram stories, the also national team published a story in which he praised his commitment to Tigres.

Despite the fact that he starred in different controversial moments in the game and did not have the opportunity to score a goal, Diego Lainez completely ignored everything that was said about his performance and praised the sporting values that he now defends, those of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL).

In his temporary history, Diego Lainez uploaded an image of him – in which he is seen fighting for the ball – in which he made it clear that he will not give up, so the 22-yearold footballer wrote the following:

“Here nobody gives up”

This is alluding to the responsibility he has with Marco Antonio Ruiz’s team and with the fans of Nuevo León.

It should be remembered that Lainez’s return to Liga MX occurred in the midst of a controversy over the supposed million-dollar salary that he asked the Coapa board of directors to return to the Azulcremas. But, in recent days, the player himself denied the information.

The Tigres club confirmed the signing of “Factor” Lainez, so the students waited for an opportunity to see the footballer

It was during an interview for ESPN that the now Tigres striker faced Baños and showed his annoyance.

The first thing Lainez Leyva did was deny the sports president of the cream-blue squad, as he argued that there were things that should not have been shared with the press. Without giving exact details of what bothered him during these negotiations, the Olympic medalist clarified that personally they made him feel bad and it affected him on a personal level.

Diego Lainez clarified that it was a misunderstanding, so he rejected all the accusations against him because he insisted that they were false accusations, for which he limited himself to ensuring that he is focused on the Tigres project in the Clausura 2023.
