ELVIS CRESPO conquers Puerto Rico on the 25th anniversary of "Suavemente"
SAN JUAN.- Singer Elvis Crespo conquered the audience of his native Puerto Rico, who let himself be seduced by the artist's best-known songs, in the Crst concert of his world tour to commemorate the twentyCfth anniversary of his hit "Suavemente".
It was at the Coca-cola Music Hall in San Juan where Crespo offered the presentation of his tour and performed his greatest hits such as "Píntame", "Tu sonrisa" and "Luna llena", in a show produced by Paco López (No Limit Entertainment) and Maribel Vega (Flash Music).
Dressed in dark glasses, green hair and white shirt, Crespo took the stage and started the concert with his song "La Noche".
"Gentleers, what do you think of my green hair? I'm sick of being compared to Rosalía, now I want to be compared to Karol G," the world-renowned artist joked about his colorful mane in front of a crowded coliseum.
"Thank you, they make me very happy to be here," continued the singer who made the audience dance to the rhythm of merengue and salsa.
Crespo also performed the song he released in September of the merengue version of "Neverita" by Bad Bunny who recreated the video of "Suavemente" when he presented it, thus capturing the attention of thousands of followers.
Crespo, who was accompanied by musicians such as Norberto Vélez and Manny Cruz, culminated the presentation with "Suavemente".
"Suavemente" is part of the history of popular music for being the Crst tropical song to enter the "Hot Latin Song" list of Billboard Magazine in 1998.
In addition, it is the title of Elvis Crespo's Crst record production as a soloist and for which he won a Grammy Award nomination for Best Tropical Latin Album.
