Thus, America and Cruz Azul, will have to change the stage for the campaign that will begin on January 12, on the o(cial website of the Mexican Football Federation, the stage of both teams appears as unavailable, but everything indicates that the Stadium of the City of Sports will be the house of the Eagles and the Cemeteries.

The last event that Azteca will have for the fans will be the concert of the Colombian Carolina Giraldo Navarro, better known as Karol G, the dates are agreed for February 8,9 and 10; but there will be no soccer, Cruz Azul, will not use the property for the commitment of day 1 of national football against Pachuca on Saturday, January 13, where he will have to play on a court that he knows quite well as the Blue Stadium.

The last soccer match held in the stadium 2 times World Cup, was the second leg of the @nal between América and Tigres, this was held on December 17, the Azulcrema won their 14th league championship and Miguel Layún retired that day. It should be mentioned that the Mexican soccer team will not return to this property until the World Cup, and it appeared at the Azteca for the last time on November 17.

The capital's scenario will put a pause in its history, the "Colosus" of the Santa Úrsula neighborhood, lived 10 Olympic games matches, this in 1968, 10 matches of the 1970 World Cup where Pelé was the @gure, lived the glories of Diego Armando Maradona in 1986, where he hosted 9 engagements. He has also seen international tournaments of all kinds, highlighting World Cup quali@ers, Pan American games, CONCACAF games and Copa Libertadores.
