The United States defeats Mexico and is the king of the Concacaf Nations League

- BY DIEGO MAYEL IBARRA

The squad of 'Las Barras y las Estrellas' again beats 'El Tri' in a nal and they are established as the only winner of this tournament.

The most important rivalry in Concacaf is Mexico vs. the United States, a confrontation where the overall balance belongs to the Mexicans, but recent history indicates that the USMNT has dominated in recent years. With their victory at AT&T Stadium, those led by Gregg Berhalter were consecrated as kings of the League of Nations by obtaining the three championships played so far.

An overwhelming domain is the one that the squad of 'Las Barras y las Estrellas' has in the last duels against 'El Tri', since the Aztec team has not won a match against the Americans since 2019 and in the middle of this time they have defeated him in Tve of seven games. For the nascent competition, the United States has three of three matches won against Mexico, two Tnals and a semitnal.

In the last Concacaf qualiters towards the Qatar World Cup, the Mexicans could not beat the USA, since they lost 2-0 as visitors and from the Azteca Stadium they could not pass 0-0, in a clear evidence of the mental and soccer power that the national team led by Berhalter has.

In addition, another point that marks the power of both sets is that of the players in Europe, where the USMNT lined up a starting eleven with all its elements at the highest level of the Old Continent, while those opposite had four players from the Liga MX. Likewise, Berhalter's Tve changes were of more men who play in Italy, Germany, Spain, France or the Netherlands.

Power of the United States in the party

Christian Pulisic quickly warned at the dawn of the meeting, but he met Guillermo Ochoa. The action came after a huge collective play between Antonee Robinson, Gio Reyna and the 'Captain America', in which the AC Milan player got among some Mexican defenders to Tnish off and the 37year-old goalkeeper stood up in an impressive way.
