In this way, Belinda's mother, Belinda Schull, expressed to the media in Mexico City what had happened.
"There is a doctor who gives him the diagnosis and it was a health issue that from one day to the next that had to be operated on... The truth has been a di!cult time for health. Beli continues to recover slowly because it has been a health issue. My daughter can't travel, she's here in Mexico recovering," he said.
On the other hand, Belinda's father, Ignacio Peregrín, also commented on what has happened in recent days regarding the issue of health.
"It was an emergency, that I don't understand the medical terms either and I haven't brought an analysis., But it was nothing, a thing that gave a scare but fortunately didn't give a major problem," he said.
What happened to Belinda and why was she hospitalized?
It must be remembered that last Thursday, March 21, 2024, it was reported that the 34-year-old Spanish singer had been hospitalized by medical recommendation, so she would not attend her announced stellar presentation at the 'Expo Feria Coatza'.
"We regret to inform you that Belinda will not be able to perform at the concert scheduled for Friday, March 22 at the Coatza Fair Expo. Due to a health problem, on the instructions of your doctor, she had to be hospitalized... Belinda's health is our main concern at the moment. We hope to be able to reschedule the concert on a future date," the organizers of the event reported.
