Candidate forums in Lake County
The public is invited as the Lake County Chamber of Commerce produces candidate forums for Districts 1, 4 and 5 over the next two weeks.
Questions for each forum may be submitted in advance to: ceo@lakecochamber.com; they may also be dropped off or mailed to 875 Lakeport Blvd. at Vista Point, Lakeport.
Each forum will begin at 6 p.m. except for the forum on Jan. 27 which starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be a 2 minute introductory statement by each candidate and then the questions will begin. Several questions will have been predetermined by the Lake County Chamber and our sponsoring partners. Candidates will be given one minute to respond to each question. Questions may be submitted by the audience at the forums; those questions will be vetted by the committee for appropriateness and to eliminate any duplications. At the closing of the forums each candidate will be given two minutes for a closing statement.
Every candidate in each District has made themselves available for these forums.
