Middletown Luncheon Club today

- — Submitted

Since California's primary election is so early this year (March 5), we postponed our annual January State of the County address in favor of a wellattended and interesting Candidate's Forum for the five District 1 Supervisor candidates.* So, NOW…

Join us for lunch (for only $5) or come just to listen (free) to District 1 Supervisor Moke Simon report on what our Board of Supervisors accomplished in 2023 and what is ahead in 2024. This popular luncheon always sells out. Reservations for lunch or listening are required and are taken on a first-come, first-served basis! Call the Senior Center at 987-3113 to make your reservation at any time of the day or night.

Lunch will be served by the Senior Center today at noon, at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington Street. The program will end by 1:00p. For only $5 per person, enjoy Pork Chili Verde, Rice and Beans, Jell-O, fruit, and dessert. All ages are welcome!

* Be sure to vote on March 5 (or before then by using your Mail-in Ballot)!

If you missed the Middletown Luncheon Club District 1 Candidate Forum here are links to a forum held at the Middletown Area Town Hall (MATH) and a forum held at the Clearlake City Council:

Middletown Luncheon Club programs occur 11 months of the year (no meetings in December) and always take place on the third Wednesday of the month. You might want to add a repeating date to your calendar along with the Senior Center phone number, 987-3113 — just in case you don't see the monthly email reminder. Please tell your friends about the MLC. They can send us an email to join our email list and stay informed.
