At Ames, Iowa, Kyle Kempt threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns, and linebacker Marcel Spears had an intercepti­on with 1:16 left, one of two turnovers in the red zone forced by the Cyclones (6-2, 4-1) in the second half. KaVontae Turpin returned the second-half kickoff 94 yards for a TD for the Horned Frogs (7-1, 4-1), who were assessed 11 penalties for 104 yards.

At Morgantown, W.Va., Mason Rudolph threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score in his 29th win with the Cowboys (7-1, 4-1), breaking Mike Gundy’s program record for victories by a starting quarterbac­k. Freshman J.D. King ran for 142 yards and scored

At Fort Collins, Colo., Arion Worthman completed just two passes, one of which was a 56-yard touchdown to Ryan Reffitt, and ran for 117 yards and a TD for the Falcons (4-4, 3-2), who totaled 413 yards on the ground and possessed the ball for 41 minutes, 38 seconds. Nick Stevens threw two touchdown passes and three intercepti­ons for the Rams (6-3, 4-1).

At Tampa, Fla., D’Eriq King threw a 30-yard completion on fourth-and-24 that set up his 20-yard touchdown run with 11 seconds left for the Cougars (5-3, 3-2 American Athletic Conference). King accounted for 83 of Houston’s twice for Oklahoma State, which scored four TDs off turnovers by the Mountainee­rs (5-3, 3-2). Will Grier threw for 285 yards and two TDs with four intercepti­ons for West Virginia.

No. 10 Oklahoma 49, Texas Tech 27 —

At Norman, Okla., Baker Mayfield passed for 281 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a score for the Sooners (7-1, 4-1), who totaled 617 yards of offense. Rodney Anderson ran for 181 yards and a TD, and CeeDee Lamb had nine catches for 147 yards and two scores for Oklahoma. Nic Shimonek passed for 322 yards and four TDs for the Red Raiders (4-4, 1-4).

At Lawrence, Kan., Alex Barnes ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and D.J. Reed returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score for

■ Wyoming 42, New Mexico 3—

At Laramie, Wyo., Josh Allen threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns — two to tight end Austin Fort, who also ran for a score — for the Cowboys (5-3, 3-1), who converted the first five of the seven turnovers by the Lobos (3-5, 1-4) into touchdowns for a 42-0 halftime lead. Safety Andrew Wingard had two of Wyoming’s five intercepti­ons. New Mexico ran 255 yards rushing. Quinton Flowers threw for 325 yards and scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards for the Bulls (7-1, 4-1), who led 7-0 at halftime.

■ No. 18 Central Florida 73, Austin Peay 33 —

At Orlando, Fla., McKenzie Milton was 24 of 26 passing for 275 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score for the Wildcats (4-4, 2-3) in their 10th straight win over the Jayhawks (1-7, 0-5). Carter Stanley threw for 418 yards and a touchdown to Steven Sims, who had nine catches for 233 yards, for Kansas, which totaled 137 yards in the first quarter — more than in its previous two games combined.

■ At Waco, Texas, safety DeShon Elliott notched his nation-best sixth intercepti­on of the season and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown in the opening minute for the Longhorns (4-4, 3-2), who held the Bears (0-8, 0-5) to 249 yards of offense. Shane Buechele was 27 of 34 passing for 256 yards and a touchdown and ran for a score for Texas.

■ Brigham Young 41, San Jose State 20 —

At Provo, Utah, Tanner Mangum threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns for the Cougars (2-7), who snapped a seven-game slide. K.J. Hall ran for 112 yards, including a 75-yard TD, for BYU. Freshman Tyler Nevens ran for 112 yards on 26 carries for the Spartans (1-8), who fumbled six times and lost four. the Knights (7-0), who scored on 11 of 12 possession­s and got a 91-yard kickoff return for a TD from Mike Hughes. Kyran Moore scored on a 91-yard kickoff return and a 35yard reception while rolling up 346 all-purpose yards for the Governors (5-3).
