At Reno, safety Dameon Baber became the third NCAA player to score three touchdowns on returns in one game, scoring on interception runbacks of 100 and 39 yards and on a 6-yard return of a blocked punt. The junior added another interception, becoming the first Mountain West player to have two three-interception games. Ty Gangi completed 16 of 23 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns and Wyatt Demps had seven catches for 115 yards and two TDs for the Wolf Pack (2-8, 2-4). Tyler Nevens ran for 118 yards and a score for the Spartans (1-10, 0-6).
